Wall of Fire

This weekend was the air show here on base. 

We were excited to see our old friends, the Blue Angels. 

We watched the Blue Angels from our backyard each day, 

but Saturday night we walked down to the air strip to check out the actual air show.

The main reason?

That is called "The Wall of Fire". 

And Husband was one of the guys that set that up. 

Seeing it was pretty neat. 

You could actually feel the heat from it where we were standing. 

But the best part was being there to see the look on Husband's face. 

The look of pure joy that says "I love my job". 

The kids favorite part?

The rides, of course. 

Those two absolutely loved that dragon roller coaster.

 Between all that roller coaster fun, some fireworks,

and that long walk home -

I had two kids that fell asleep when their heads hit their pillows.
