This boy seems to live in some sort of level of groundment.
Yesterday he was caught riding his bike past the boundaries we have set for him yet again.
He has a pretty decent sized area that he is allowed to play and ride his bike without us being outside supervising him.
But yet every time we turn around he is off somewhere he is not supposed to be.
We of course ask him why.
"Why Bryce?! Why can't you just listen?! Why can't you just ride your bike in this huge area we've set up for you?!"
His response last night?
"I just want to see the world."
Seriously.
What do you say to that.
How do you walk away from that not feeling like you are holding your son back?
I mean, obviously once he walks away you think of a million come backs.
But at that moment?
He had me.
He's still grounded.
But the boy got in a nice little jab.
Touche.
And?
Apparently my girl turned 17 overnight when I wasn't looking.
How does this happen?
When did princesses and dress up turn into before school nail polish sessions and the latest fashion.
Happy weekend folks.
