miscellaneous.

This girl has been a bad blogger lately. 

Why? 

I'm not really sure. 

Things have just seemed very hectic lately. 

The kids only have a few days of school left, 

and it seems like their schools have been cramming as much as possible in to these last few weeks.

Field trips, field days, musicals... 

And then there's the fact that we have gotten our orders and I'm in official purge and organize mode.

Speaking of orders, if you haven't heard already, 

they have changed. 

We are now going to California. 

There was a mix up with codes and such, 

basically someone read the duty station info wrong somewhere along the way and we were given the wrong information. 

We will be going on leave (as long as nothing changes) after Husband graduates and then making the trek across country to California. 

Wanna hear something depressing? 

Fort Wayne, Indiana to San Diego, California = 33 and a half hours.

Baylie had her school field day last week. 

She got very into the whole competition aspect of the whole thing. 

Her favorite game?

The marble grab. 

You had to grab as many marbles as you could using only your toes. 

But in true Baylie fashion, 

she was a little too concerned about how many marbles everyone else was getting than making sure she was getting enough to win. 

Her team did win the pyramid building contest though.

The kids decided to combine their allowance and buy themselves a pool.

I need to go see if the Husband plans to bring that infamous sea bag full of sea bags with us on to California...
