Sharks in the middle, one person stands in the middle (The shark) of the gym and the kids run from one side of the gym to the other. Whoever the shark tags, becomes sharks the next round when the kids run back to the other side of the gym?
If so, I can remember playing that in first and second grade. The key is to run on the sides, the sharks are less likely to worry about them early on lol.
