Yesterday we had a pretty lazy day around the house until late afternoon. We went to some friends of ours house for a cookout and some games. The Traywicks were generous enough to have no problem with us bringing Mabel with us to their house, so we packed up and headed over there for the evening. They have a little boy a month younger than Bryce, so they had a good time playing and hurting each other. It's impossible to get two 4 year old boys together without some kind of game of who can hurt the other more forming. We had some awesome steak, bbq chicken, pasta salad, veggies, and oreo pie for dessert. Yummy.
Last night Mabel had a much better night. I took her outside twice through the night to do her business and that's all I heard from her. It was nice to sleep.
The kids have been very eager to help with Mabel. (We'll see how long that lasts...) But it is nice to have their help. Baylie took Mabel outside today by herself.
Miss Mabel has got herself quite spoiled already. She loves to sleep on us. She'll start groaning if we move her while she's sleeping. She's a little grumpy when she's tired.
