Bedtime Stories - Embrace the Camera

It's Thursday again. (Is this week flying by for everyone else too, or is it just me??) Remember last week how I told you Thursdays would be embrace the camera day? Because I know you all get sick of looking at the kids and the occasional Hubby picture aaalllll the time. Right? I thought so. So here's some pictures that include me.

Last night we read some books before bed. I've been absolutely awful this summer about reading to the kids. During the school year we read almost every night. I guess since it's summer and the kids are home aaaallllll day I'm just ready for bedtime when it rolls around and have made bedtime quite a quick process by saying yes, you can watch TV for awhile in your bed before you go to sleep. But not last night. Nope. We decided to get our read on.

Separately of course... Because Bryce is a 4 year old man who has NO interest in those nasty princess stories, and Bay doesn't believe any story is a good story if it doesn't involve some sort of princess. So my B-rye went first. We read about construction trucks. Why not Transformers you ask? Well, because he was a Transformer again last night while he slept. Apparently the world didn't feel quite safe enough again, so he wore his Optimus Prime costume to bed. And just in case being a transformer wasn't enough he added the extra protection of being a Marine by wearing one of Daddy's old covers.

If a Transformer/Marine combo can't save the world than I guess we're in trouble...

Miss Baylie chose a book about tea parties. It was giving me flashbacks of the last time she hosted a tea party. Gag. We went to look at a few houses yesterday in our new duty station location and the one had a pretty nice back yard that was fenced in with a few trees in it. She was all "We could put a table out here with a nice tablecloth and have some fabulous tea parties out here".  Oh, Baylie...

Hopefully everyone has a great Thrusday!!
