This was Bryce's halloween costume from this last year. We found it again while we were visiting on leave. It made it's way into the suitcase when it was time to come home. Since then he's been Optimus Bryce at least once a day. Friday he got really into it. He told me that he was pretty sure that there was going to be an attack that night and he thought he should wear his costume to bed so he could save everyone quickly from the Decepticons if they decided to start trouble. So what do you do if your 4 year old son requests to wear his previous years costume as pajamas? You say "Knock yourself out" and then decide that you are pretty stoked that you are getting your money out of that $35 costume.
In case you were wondering, there were no attacks that night. But just in case, he continued to be Optimus Prime through breakfast too. Just in case. You never know.
